Les entreprises manufacturières découvrent de nouvelles façons d’utiliser l’IA (en anglais)

Selon la nouvelle étude Industrial AI Insights de Honeywell, seuls 17 % des décideurs mondiaux ont déclaré avoir pleinement mis en œuvre leurs principaux plans d’IA. Cependant, l’étude révèle que plus de 90 % des responsables de l’intelligence artificielle ont découvert des cas d’utilisation inattendus. Honeywell a ajouté que 94 % des personnes interrogées prévoyaient étendre leur utilisation de l'intelligence artificielle.

Honeywell Methodology

Honeywell tasked Wakefield Research with conducting the survey, which ran from April 22 to May 2, 2024, and featured 1,600 executives in 12 countries. Each executive led a company of at least 1,000 employees and used artificial intelligence to automate tasks and processes.

How AI Benefits Decision-Makers

Approximately 64% of those surveyed listed productivity gains and efficiency as the most significant benefits of using artificial intelligence in industrial settings. Additionally, 60% reported improved threat detection and cybersecurity, and 59% claimed that real-time data generation had helped decision-making.

Other factors positively impacted by artificial intelligence included work flexibility (49%), job satisfaction (45%), more time for creative thinking and development (44%), and workplace safety (39%).
